URGENT: GP Practices are at risk

The UK Government’s Budget on 30 October failed to protect GP practices from the increase in Employer National Insurance contributions.

Practices are already under severe financial strain due to years of neglect and this additional cost is one they simply cannot afford.

We need all GP Partners to write to their MS, outlining the risk this will have on practices in their constituencies and regions, and ask them to immediately raise this issue with the Welsh Government.

This decision could see an adverse impact on patient care and the potential for more practices to close their doors for good.
